Why is Knowledge Managment needed in your organization?
Do you have problems understanding the vast amount of data generated in your organization?

Are most of your experienced employees retiring and taking with them years of hard lessons learned and best practices?

Do your employees and you feel that you are reinventing the wheel all the time?

Do you wish you could learn how other employees and organizations are approaching similar problems and challenges?

Are you concerned about information security and knowledge protection and do not know now to approach them?

Do you have knowledge management strategies, processes, projects, and tools in place that you feel are not working well or that can work better?

Do you believe that you and your organization can do better, innovate more, and be more efficient and effective using the data and information generated within and outside the organization but do not know how?

Do you have a group of employees dedicated to perform knowledge management but they have not taken training courses and certificates that have had an impact upon their performance and the performance of the organization?

The agile knowledge management certificate training at ODU addresses these and other practical questions.

The agile knowledge management certificate

The complexity of modern organizations has made learning a key capability for their sustainability. The faster an organization and its members learn, the better it is positioned to face the challenges of moving targets and uncertainty.
Knowledge management focus on promoting the learning needed to continuously enhance reflection, decision making, and actions in modern complex environment.

The vision of this agile knowledge management certificate is to develop professionals that thrive in complex environments. Through this agile knowledge management certificate any professional from any sector will acquire knowledge and skills that will enable (a)to manage knowledge for the benefit of their organization, group, or self-, and (b) to become knowledge managers that lead organizational learning and transformation efforts. The agile knowledge management certificate has a minimum cohort of 15 students and a maximum of 30 students. Classes start 3 times a year in Spring, Summer, and Fall.
