Engineering Math
Description
An expanded shop math class that focuses on using math knowledge in application to solve engineering challenges. The use of simple trigonometry principles in the machine shop as well as the use of math skills in a QC/QA environment are addressed. Simple equation manipulation is also covered, as well as the calculations of volumes, areas, and many other applied uses. This course is designed for anyone, regardless of their math background.

Cancellation:
To withdraw from a course you must send a request in writing to pdc@odu.edu or fax to (757) 683-5509 one business day prior to the start date of the course. Failure to attend a course does not constitute withdrawal. Course registration fees, less a $75 processing fee will be refunded via check per Old Dominion University policy (we are unable to return money to a debit or credit card). There are no refunds once the class has begun.
